Fraction Collector - Sampler LAMBDA Omnicoll

Fraction Collector - Omnicoll
Utilization in chromatography

The LAMBDA OMNICOLL fraction collector and autosampler can be used for all kinds of chromatography such as normal or low pressure chromatography. It is also suitable for medium pressure chromatography sometimes called FPLC (Fast Protein Liquid Chromatography) or high pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC), also referred to as high performance liquid chromatography.

Multi-channel fraction collection – multiple stream sampling

An interesting property of the LAMBDA OMNICOLL fraction collector is the possibility to collect simultaneously the streams of many chromatographic columns. Multi-stream assembly is available for 2 to 18 or even more effluents of multiple chromatography columns. In the number of simultaneous chromatographic streams the OMNICOLL is not outperformed by any other fraction collector on the market.

This multi-stream assembly is technically very simple and polyvalent. It allows an easy adaptation of various experimental needs directly by the user:

Example of taking 4x2 fractions in a 4-channel configuration:

Multiple fraction collection – multi-channel assembly (mobile front version, Art. No. 6920)

Example of taking 6x2 fractions in a 6-channel configuration:

Multiple fraction collection – multi stream assembly (mobile front version, Art. No. 6920)

Example of taking 16 fractions in a 16-channel configuration:

Simultaneous fraction collection for more than 18 simultaneous fractions (fixed rear version, Art. No. 6923)

Example of taking 12 fractions in a 12-channel configuration into 250ml bottles and additional capacity extension:

It is possible to customize the LAMBDA OMNICOLL fraction collector to best suit your demands and applications. Feel free to contact us with your requests.

Highest flexibility of use – for almost any application

The collected volume of chromatographic fractions starts from few dozens of micro liters to as high as tens of liters. The bottom plate can be removed thus allowing the use of basically any recipient, even very large bottles or containers for large volume fractions, as in pilot plants or in industrial size chromatography applications. Other examples include e.g. sample taking in waste water treatment plants. The LAMBDA OMNICOLL fraction collector and sampler is also an excellent choice for field-applications as it can be battery-operated.

A special bottom plate with funnels fitted with tubes can also be used for the collection of 50 liter fractions as they are used for example in large volume chromatography. These features make the LAMBDA OMNICOLL fraction collector an incredibly versatile and polyvalent fraction collection and sampling instrument, unique on the market.

Increasing the capacity of the fraction collector - sampler

The modular construction of the LAMBDA OMNICOLL fraction collector-sampler allows several supports to be coupled together. This enables increasing the capacity of the fraction collector and sampler many times very easily.

Fraction Collector - Sampler LAMBDA Omnicoll - increased tube rack capacity

The tube rack capacity is easily increased according to your needs by simply adding additional rack support units (art. no. 6902).
